Keuka students use the Merritts Swing, a low element, to learn about resource aquisition and allocation.

Facilitator Jane Palmer '10 leads a group team-building activity.

Facilitating is a  fun job that is applicable to all majors and can help you improve many necessary skills for your career. The benefits of being a facilitator are endless, but some include:

Some of the skills I gained during this Field Period included: creating spreadsheets, creating/administering surveys for various departments and groups, scanning, data retrieval, and working with members of other departments to reach a common goal.

Best Aspect

It was a great opportunity for me to conduct a Field Period with TeamWorks! I became more familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel, creating surveys on Class Climate, scanning/data retrieval, and so much more. Being computer savvy is just one of the many things that employers require of their employees, and having this opportunity puts me that much ahead of the competition.

During my Field Period I created marketing materials including a video brochure. I also assisted in developing an employee tracking system and helped staff programs for TeamWorks! clientele. I was also able to assist in training new employees.

Best Aspect

Aside from providing me with professional experience I wouldn't have been able to get in a classroom, my TeamWorks! Field Period was an amazingly enjoyable experience.
