TeamWorks! for Businesses

Our team building events will engage, entertain, educate, and—most of all—motivate your team.

Our activities, events, and programs are highly effective tools for impacting your group’s leadership and teamwork skills.

During a TeamWorks! program, your team will develop a greater understanding and appreciation of their performance strengths and limitations. Issues of group norms, change, conflict management, decision making, risk taking, and planning can be addressed through our activity-based team building simulations.

Employees of Upstate Medical Physics, Inc. work together to solve "The Meuse," a low element designed to refine teambuilding and problem-solving skills using limited resources.

Hands down, we believe experience is the best teacher.

Every program offered by TeamWorks! has some component of interactivity because, while we all learn differently, all of us learn best by doing. As the national leader in experiential, hands-on learning, Keuka College’s expertise is in transferring experience into knowledge that can almost immediately be applied in the workplace.

What’s Involved in a TeamWorks! Program?

THIS ALSO NEEDS A CAPTION

Members from the College's Organizational Management program begin their TeamWorks! experience with a mini-initiative.

Active participation in our programs require individuals to use a variety of intelligences, such as: linguistic, physical, interpersonal, intrapersonal.

As part of the experiential learning process, once activities are completed, participants are asked to look at the experience and examine their roles within it.

This reflection period fosters and strengthens trust, and creates an ideal environment for groups with diverse behavioral and learning styles.

In our programs, the element of adventure is integrated to further remove participants from their comfort zones, thereby enabling them to take risks both physically and emotionally, but in a safe and controlled environment. The heightened responses when people are engaged in this manner create an optimal and expedited state of learning.

The use of programs like TeamWorks! by businesses have repeatedly shown to have a tremendous impact in many ways including, but not limited to:

  • Increased productivity and efficiency
  • Enable participants to realize their individual and group potential and achieving the impossible
  • A better understanding of co-workers
  • Leadership development and recognition
  • Selection of new employees
  • Recognize how different learning styles affect the workplace environment
