
The students, faculty and staff members from Keuka College who volunteered to help Ty Pennington and his Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew construct a new home for the Hill family in Geneva were not only helping a neighbor but members of the Keuka College family as well.
Tim and Michelle Hill are 1995 graduates of Keuka College.
A group of volunteers from the College traveled to Geneva Monday, Aug. 18 to assist Pennington and his design team, and two more groups will headed to Geneva to work the 1-7 a.m. volunteer shifts Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22-23.
The Monday evening team included Kris Pearson, B.J. Jayne, Derek Filipiak, Jen Shaughnessy, and Kraig Connor.
The Friday morning crew: Melissa Thurston, Emily J. Shuart-Koellner, Kaitlyn Wood, T. Hunter Morgan, Elizabeth Meyers, Amanda Nienhouse, Courtney St. Pierre, Brianne Lojo, Alicia Colombo, Jessica Whitaker, Carrie Sheppard, Ashley Lent, Lindsey Peck, Dominique Derminio, Noel Wheeler, and Jean Wannall.
The Saturday morning team: Jessica Noveck, Shawna Carey, Kelly Colf, Aspyn Landis, Eva Moberg Sarver, Gretchen Switzer, Laura Dougherty, Jessica Hazard, and Mary Nichols, Filipiak, and Shaughnessy.
