Celebrate 15 years of CSCY Sunday, April 22. To register, download the registration form.

Students ready to chip in at the Keuka Fire Department.

Volunteers from all walks of life will join with other committed individuals who wish to make a positive difference in our community.

Volunteers will paint, clean, repair, build, and clear trails throughout Yates County. The event is being planned by volunteers from Keuka College and Yates County Chamber of Commerce with support from other local organizations, merchants, businesses, and citizens.

WHO: Citizens from around Yates County interested in helping to make our community a better place to live and work.

WHAT: A day of community service, helping local non-profit organizations, agencies, and citizens. Tasks may include clearing trails, making neighborhoods safer, painting, and cleaning.

WHY: To celebrate service, to work with neighbors, to make Yates County a better place in which to live and work, and to have fun.

WHERE: Volunteers will meet in the Phillips Lounge of Dahlstrom Student Center on the Keuka College campus. Lunch will be provided. The work will be performed throughout Yates County. Transportation will be provided.

How It Works

Volunteers may register individually or as part of a team. Anyone may form a team—employees of local businesses, students, religious congregations, families, sports teams, club members, or groups of friends.

Each member of the team needs to complete a registration form. Volunteers under the age of 15 must have a parent or legal guardian accompany them.

Each volunteer will be assigned a site at registration. To ensure proper site placement, all volunteers must attend registration on the day of the event. Complete information about the project will be provided to a pre-appointed site leader (there is a place on the registration form to indicate interest in being a site leader). Transportation to and from the site, as well as tools and supplies, will be provided.

T-shirts are guaranteed only to volunteers who register by March 23
Sponsor deadline is March 1 this year.
