Each year, an upper class and freshman student are both honored as the Keuka College Experiential Learner of the Year.
Students who are nominated must submit an extensive portfolio in order to be considered for recognition. Their portfolio must document:
Nominees must also write an essay reflecting on their hands-on learning experiences.
All nominees are honored at a reception each year, and the winner—who is picked by a panel of faculty, staff, administrators, trustees, alumni, and peers—is announced at Academic Convocation each May.
